TK Products Dog Kennel Isolation Panels | HDPE Privacy Dividers
Description
TK Products Dog Kennel Isolation Panels | HDPE Privacy Dividers
TK Products dog kennel isolation panels are solid HDPE privacy dividers designed to mount between adjacent kennel runs, blocking the line of sight between dogs housed side by side. They are the most effective way to reduce fence fighting, inter-dog aggression, and stress in multi-dog kennel environments, and are the single most popular add-on for TK Products kennel systems across boarding facilities, shelters, grooming salons, and multi-dog households.
Each panel is made from non-toxic black high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the same dense plastic material used in commercial food processing equipment, playground structures, and public restroom partitions. HDPE is solid black all the way through, so scratches do not show as bare material, and the surface is completely impervious to cleaning chemicals, urine, disinfectants, and pressure washing. Unlike galvanized steel or painted panels, HDPE cannot rust, corrode, or degrade, even if the surface is scratched or gouged. All panels are 48 inches tall and mount to the wire mesh side panels of TK Products kennels using included stainless steel brackets and screws.
*Please Note: all panels 6' and over, come in 2 pieces
Sizing Guide: How to Choose the Right Panel
TK Products isolation panels are sold individually and sized to match specific kennel dimensions. The vast majority of buyers need side panels, which mount on the shared divider walls between runs.
Side panels are the standard option and account for nearly all isolation panel orders. They mount on the interior divider walls between adjacent runs. Match the panel width to the width of your kennel run:
- For 3-foot wide kennel runs: order the 3' Side Panel (SKU 10195)
- For 4-foot wide kennel runs: order the 4' Side Panel (SKU 10197)
- For 5-foot wide kennel runs: order the 5' Side Panel (SKU 10160)
- For 8-foot wide kennel runs: order the 8' Side Panel (SKU 10197-2)
- For 10-foot wide kennel runs: order the 10' Side Panel (SKU 10160-2)
Note: panels 6 feet wide and larger ship in two pieces and are joined during installation.
End panels are for the rear wall of enclosed kennels only, where a full back panel exists. Match the end panel width to the length (depth) of your kennel run:
- For 4-foot long kennel runs: order the 4' End Panel (SKU 10199)
- For 5-foot long kennel runs: order the 5' End Panel (SKU 10200)
How many panels do you need? In a row of kennel runs, the number of shared interior walls equals the number of runs minus one. A 4-run kennel bank has three shared interior walls, so three side panels are needed to isolate all adjacent runs. In a 10-run bank, nine side panels would fully isolate every run.
If you are unsure which size to order or how many panels your configuration requires, call us at 888-979-5566 or email. We size orders for customers regularly and can confirm the correct part numbers for your specific setup.
Why Isolation Panels Make a Meaningful Difference
When dogs can see each other through wire mesh kennel walls, the result is often fence fighting: dogs lunging, barking, and repeatedly throwing themselves against the shared panel wall. This behaviour is stressful for the dogs, damaging to the kennel infrastructure, and disruptive in any facility environment. Research on animal shelter stress consistently identifies visual stimulation from adjacent animals as one of the primary stress drivers in kennelled dogs.
Isolation panels solve this at the source. By blocking the visual connection between adjacent runs entirely for the lower 48 inches of the kennel wall, the panels reduce reactive behaviour, lower overall noise levels in the facility, and allow dogs to settle and rest more effectively. For boarding facilities and shelters, this translates directly to calmer animals, easier staff workflows, and better outcomes for the animals in their care. For multi-dog households, it means a kennel setup where dogs can be housed safely side by side without ongoing conflict.
The panels mount on one side of the shared wall only, which means cleaning the wire mesh behind them remains straightforward. They can be added, repositioned, or removed entirely at any time without tools beyond a basic screwdriver.
Compatible with TK Products Kennels and Other Kennel Brands
TK Products isolation panels are designed and sized to integrate directly with TK Products Pro-Series kennel panels, using the same stainless steel hardware system. No drilling or modification is required for TK Products kennel owners.
The panels also work with many other kennel brands and chain-link kennel systems. Because HDPE can be cut cleanly with standard woodworking tools, panels can be trimmed to fit non-standard widths or existing kennel configurations that do not match the standard TK Products sizes. One reviewer purchased these panels specifically for a traditional chain-link kennel installation and reported a straightforward fit with minor modification.
If you have an existing kennel system from another manufacturer and want to add isolation panels, call us at 888-979-5566 or email with your kennel dimensions and we will advise on the best option.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which panel size do I need for my kennel? Match the panel width to the width of your kennel runs for side panels. If you have 4-foot wide runs, order the 4-foot side panel. For end panels on enclosed kennels, match the panel width to the depth (length) of your run. If you are not sure, call 888-979-5566 or chat with us and we will confirm the right part number for your setup.
Do isolation panels reduce noise as well as visual separation? Yes. Solid HDPE panels absorb and deflect sound more effectively than wire mesh alone. In multi-run kennel environments, adding isolation panels noticeably reduces the overall noise level in the facility, particularly the reactive barking triggered by dogs seeing each other through the wire.
Can the panels be used outdoors? Yes. HDPE is fully weatherproof and rated for outdoor use in all climates. It does not absorb moisture, will not rot or warp, and is unaffected by UV exposure, temperature extremes, or cleaning chemicals. The stainless steel mounting hardware will not rust outdoors.
Do the panels cover the full height of the kennel wall? The panels are 48 inches (4 feet) tall. TK Products kennel walls are 72 inches (6 feet) tall, so the upper 24 inches of the shared wall remains open wire mesh. This is intentional: the solid lower section eliminates the primary visual trigger zone while the open upper section maintains ventilation and airflow between runs.
Will these panels work on my existing chain-link or other brand kennels? Often yes. The panels can be adapted to most wire mesh kennel systems, and HDPE can be cut to fit non-standard widths if needed. Contact us before ordering so we can confirm compatibility and advise on installation for your specific setup.
How are the panels installed? Each panel mounts to the wire mesh side panel using included stainless steel brackets and screws. Installation requires only basic hand tools and takes a few minutes per panel. The panels mount on one side of the shared wall only. They can be moved or removed at any time.
What is the lead time for isolation panels? Isolation panels are normally instock and ship via freight carrier within 7 days or purchase. If you have a specific deadline, call us at 888-979-5566 or email for a current lead time estimate. Panels ship from Michigan via freight carrier on a pallet.

The pallets of kennels can be unwrapped on the truck and each kennel panel can then be easily lifted off the truck.
